Privacy and cookie notice

Updated 29 October 2026.

Durand Productions provides videography services. For privacy questions or requests concerning information sent through this website, email john@durandproductions.com.

Information you send

The contact form asks for your name, your fiancé's name, email, phone number, venue and wedding details. You can also provide a wedding date, referral source and favorite movies. We use these details to respond to your enquiry and discuss videography services.

If you leave a blog comment, we receive your name, email, optional website address and comment. Approved comments can display your name, website link and comment publicly. Your email address is not displayed with the comment. Some comments can be approved automatically under the website's existing previously approved identity rule.

Hosting, security and notifications

Cloudflare provides this website's hosting, storage, form verification and notification delivery. Necessary security checks process request information, such as an IP address and browser information, to help protect the website and its forms. Website messages are stored privately and delivered to Durand's configured business notification recipients. They are not published as website content.

Videos and live reviews

The background highlights video is hosted with this website and does not require optional-media consent. The website's server retrieves public Vimeo gallery titles and thumbnails, and serves the thumbnail images from this website's address. Those server requests do not forward your IP address or browser cookies to Vimeo. Other film players use Vimeo or YouTube, and live reviews use Elfsight or EmbedSocial. Your browser loads those optional players and review services only after you allow External media. When enabled, they can receive information such as your IP address and browser details and use their own storage. Links to external review or social profiles open the relevant provider's website when you choose to follow them.

Your storage choices

Use Accept all, Refuse optional or Select optional to choose whether optional external media and remembered comment details are enabled. You can reopen or change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Refusing optional storage does not prevent the first-party background video or the contact form from working.

The website stores your preference in your browser for up to 180 days. If you choose to remember comment details, your name, email and website can be saved in that browser after a successful submission, for up to 180 days. Turning that choice off removes the saved details without clearing a comment you are currently writing. Forms use a necessary security cookie lasting up to two hours. Optional features remain off when a saved preference is invalid, expired or unavailable. Form text stays on the current page after a failed submission so you can retry; the website does not save a separate contact-message draft in browser storage.

Stored records and requests

Durand retains enquiry and comment records to manage correspondence and the website. Historical booking and agreement records are kept in restricted recovery material, rather than published on the replacement website. To ask about access, correction or removal of information you sent, contact john@durandproductions.com and describe your request. Do not post private information in a public comment.
